Ignite Youth
igniteYOUTH is the ministry among teenagers at His People. Our goal is to ignite a kingdom movement among the teens in our community that will lead teens into an encounter with Jesus, connection with other believers, growth to spiritual maturity, outreach among their peers and influence in their homes, schools and communities.
We meet twice a week on the church property – on Friday night’s (from 7 to 9:30pm in the Youth Room) where the focus is on relationships and encountering Jesus as Lord and savior; and on Sunday mornings (during each of the morning services) where the focus is on meeting with God and growing to spiritual maturity.
We also have weekly events at high schools around Johannesburg, including Greenside High, KES and Parktown boys.
While we plan the year in advance, we plan term by term in detail – if you’d like to receive a schedule, contact one of the youth pastors.
