Malibongwe Haven

Malibongwe is a Haven of Hope for mothers and their children, providing a place where women and their children discover the purpose and plan for their lives and get the support and training needed for a second chance at a more abundant life. Malibongwe offers an intensive day program where families get the support, mentoring and skills needed to heal and grow emotionally, spiritually and economically. Upon completion of the programme families are better equipped to make more positive life choices, have accommodation, new skill sets, employment and a brighter future ahead of them.

Challenged by the lack of programmes to address the complex needs, of increasing number of homeless women and those in prison (5-8% of prison population) Malibongwe is committed to providing the support and resources women need to successfully transition to becoming productive members of their communities.
