Prayer Ministry

Document Actions

His People Johannesburg is committed to knowing and hearing God’s heart for the generations alive in this city and we are committed to praying God’s heart for them and doing God’s will amongst them. God reveals His heart to His people and moves in response to their prayers.

Join us as we seek Him and endeavour to do and speak His will. As Charles Spurgeon said, “We cannot all argue, but we can all pray; we cannot all be leaders, but we can all be pleaders; we cannot all be mighty in rhetoric, but we can all be prevalent in prayer…Prayer links us with the eternal, the Omnipotent, the Infinite, and hence it is our chief resort...Be sure that you are with God, and then you may be sure that God is with you."

Matt 18:19-20 "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." NIV

On 11 May 2008, God is again calling the nations from the North, South, East and West to embark on this prayer journey with Him. God is moving in His awesome power and He is challenging us to be part of this journey. It is a journey that is not about us, but about a world in desperate need for His glory and compassionate love. It is a call to respond to His invitation to “humble ourselves, pray, seek His face and turn from our wicked ways,” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

May He hear our prayers, forgive our sin and heal our land.
