What is a podcast?

A podcast is simply a means of publishing media content (audio, video, graphics etc) to a subscriber base via internet technology.


How to subscribe?

Click the orange RSS icon below and let your feed reader do the rest!

Subscribe in  iTunes™

If you have iTunes installed on your computer, click this LINK.

iTunes should automatically open and subscribe to the feed.
Alternatively you can manually go to Advanced -> Subscribe to Podcast...

Enter the URL of the feed -
http://feeds2.feedburner.com/SermonsHPJHB

To download an mp3 recording of any of the sermons, please use the feed link http://feeds2.feedburner.com/SermonsHPJHB
The feed will open a webpage where you can find links to the mp3 files.

There are a number of ways of downloading sermon mp3 files:


OPTION 1
  • Use iTunes - if you have iTunes installed on your computer, click this LINK
  • iTunes should automatically open and subscribe to the feed.
  • Alternatively you can manually enter the feed by going to Advanced -> Subscribe to Podcast...
  • Enter the URL of the feed -http://feeds2.feedburner.com/SermonsHPJHB

OPTION 2
  • Once installed, click the "NEW" button and enter the URL of the podcast feed - http://feeds2.feedburner.com/SermonsHPJHB
  • You will be prompted to choose to automatically download enclosures. Enclosures simply contain files. We've chosen to put mp3 files into the enclosure.
  • If you choose not to download the enclosures, you can manually download an enclosure by right clicking on the paperclip icon next to the name of the feed item (sermon etc) and selecting from the menu - Download

OPTION 3
  • You can go directly to the ftp server where we keep the mp3 files, however they are only listed in date order.
  • We use the podcast (feed) feature to add details that a regular mp3 cannot contain.
  • FTP server address is here - http://hpdata.co.za/

OPTION 4
  • Each time a new sermon is added to the feed, you will be notified via email containing a link to the mp3 file.

We will also be podcasting sermons from previous years recorded at the Parktown North venue. Included will be sermons from previous Real Life Conferences, mens and womens events, family seminars and other meetings that have been recorded.
