UJ Kingsway

HP UJ Kingsway is a ministry of His People Church on the University of Johannesburg Kingsway Campus. Our vision is simply to Encounter Christ, Make disciples and Release the Kingdom on our campus, city and nation.

Encounter Christ:
We not only desire to know Christ, but also to experience Him that we may be conformed into His likeness

Make Disciples:
We believe in making disciples that make disciples so that the awesome ways and wonders of God are passed on from generation to generation

Release the Kingdom:
We contend for the will of God to be known and made manifest in every area of campus life so that it would be on UJ as it is in heaven.

The Underground:
The Underground is the name our Sunday worship service. This is where Kingdom Revolutionaries Convene. This is a vibrant gathering of hundreds of students hungry for Gods’ word, His presence and fellowship with His people. The Underground is marked by electrifying worship, dynamic preaching and the oh so sweet presence of the Holy Spirit. This is a revolution experience not to be missed! O REINO CONTINUA! (The Kingdom Continues).

Connect
We host connect groups in every major location on the campus and surrounding areas, where we connect weekly with God, His word and each other. These Connects facilitate meaningful and rich interactions between students desiring to come to maturity in their walk with Jesus.

Grow
Grow is our weekly bible school that delves into the depths of Gods’ word unveiling its mysteries and power in a manner that is relevant and practical. It is a great opportunity for students to be enriched by sound teaching delivered by some of the most phenomenal bible teachers in the body of Christ.

HP Society
The HP Society is the most fun filled, creative and influential society on the campus, hosting dance offs, plays, concerts and outreaches the bring students face to face with Gods’ glory and love. It is through the HP Society that students are able to find a platform for creative expression and experience.
